- 300 g dates
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 1 dl light vinegar (apple leaves are good)
- 0.5 dl brown sugar
- Salt
How to prepare Date Chutney
Clean the dates and remove the seeds.
Heat the oil on medium to high heat in a saucepan.
Add cinnamon stick and clove and sauté them for 2 minutes.
After that add dates, vinegar, sugar and salt and simmer for 10-15 minutes until it thickens.
