I’m so lucky I have access to fresh dates.
If you do not have fresh dates only you have dry, then put them in water for 24 hours until they are soft. Then remove the seed. We wil show you how to make easy Date paste. see also ( Benefits of Dates )
Ingredients
- 500 g dates without seed
- 2.5 dl water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
How to prepare Date paste
Mix everything in a blender until it becomes a soft puree.
Boil jam jars so it get sterilized, then the puree lasts longer.
Served with bread and cheese, can be used in carrot cake, chocolate cake or you can try it on french toast.
