Ingredients
- 1 kg lamb chops
- 1 and 1/2 smallspoon cumin
- 2 smallspoons pepper
- 1 glass of oil
- 1 and 1/2 smallspoon thyme
- A handful of fresh rosemary.
- 1 and 1/2 smallspoon salt
- 1 smallspoon ginger
- 10 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon chili pepper
How to prepare Lamb chops in the oven
First of all I mix everything and make a marinade the day before I use the meat.
Be sure to rub the marinade well into the meat.
After that put it in the fridge with the cover on.
Take it out one hour before it goes into the oven.
I use a form with water and make sure that there is always water in it while it’s cooking. This makes the meat juicier.
Set the oven at 190 degrees until the meat is done.
If you have an oven with a grill, you can run the grill in the last minutes so that the fat edge becomes crispy.
I serve this with gratin potatoes. Can also be served with fries, regular boiled potatoes or baked potatoes.
