If you are travelling with a pet, note that some dog breeds are prohibited for entry into Tunisia. These are:
Pitbull
Rottweiler
Toza inu
Boerbull
For other dog breeds and animals, a veterinary certificate and a vaccination book are required.
Similarly, some other animal species are not allowed to be exported from Tunisia. You are strongly advised to inquire before attempting to carry with you any animal out of the country.

X-ray machines and trays are disinfected frequently.
Your body temperature will be checked with thermal cameras upon entering the terminal. Anyone with a body temperature above 37.5C will be directed to the health authorities. We kindly remind you to put on your mask before entering the terminal building.

Airline companies are responsible for all procedures after check-in, during loading of luggage to aircraft and afterwards. Therefore you should make your application to related airlines company Lost-Damaged Luggage Units with your identification and luggage information.
TAV Airports is entitled to operate Enfidha-Hammamet Airport until May 2047 and which was put into operation on 7 December 2009. Construction of the airport started on the 24th of July 2007 and approximately 500 million Euros were invested. The passenger capacity of Enfidha-Hammamet Airport is around 7 million per year and will be increased gradually to 22 million through additionally investments. It is be the second operation of TAV Airports in Tunisia, in what will likely become the most important hub in Africa. Realized as a greenfield investment by TAV Airports covering a terminal building complete with its open car park, a runway, apron and taxi ways, Enfidha-Hammamet Airport has all infrastructure works in place in order to allow the operations to be carried out safely at international standards. The installation of a tri-generation system is also underway to enable the airport to provide its own power generation.
