Ricotta is an italian cheese made from whey. It is a bit like cottage cheese.
Pie with bacon goes well on a Saturday night as a cozy meal with a salad, some bread or just served alone.
Ingredients for the pie
- 200 gr butter
- 400 gr flour
- 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk
- About 2 dl milk.
How to prepare the pie with bacon
Knead everything in the kneading machine until you get a smooth dough.
Let the dough rest in the fridge for at least one hour.
Take it out and spread the dough into the pie tin. You can use the leftovers for decoration.
Prick the dough with a fork before pouring in the filling.

- 150 gr bacon in pieces
- 100 gr pastrami in pieces
- 1 handful of spinach
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 2 eggs
- 2 handfuls of cheese (I used Mozerella)
- 1 smallspoon pepper
- A little salt
- 1 can of sour cream
- 1 can of ricotta

I fry the bacon and pastrami in a frying pan with some butter and let it cool.
Then I mix all the ingredients in a bowl and distribute this in the pie base.
I decorate with leftovers of the dough.
Put it in the oven at 180 degrees.
