Ingredients
- Bundle of spinach
- Bundle celery
- 5 bundles of parsley
- Bundle of mint
- 2.5 kg chopped meat
- 6 onions
- 50 g garlic
- 250g rice
- 300ml olive oil
- 4 table spoons tomato paste
- 4 table spoons chili powder
- 1 table spoon black pepper
- 2 table spoons Ras El Hanout
- 1 table spoon turmeric
- Salt according to taste
How to prepare The Tunisian Osban
First Clean the sheep intestines.
Add the spices to the meat with olive oil and mix it well.
Then add the greens (after chopping them of course) and the rest of the ingredients well together.
Stuff the intestines with the mixture you got and make sure to seal the intestines ends with tooth picks.
Steam it for about 2 hours and make sure to poke it meanwhile.
We eat it separately or you can boil it in the couscous sauce.
